Our whole community thrives when we all show up for each other.

It takes a village to raise a child.
— African proverb, specific origin unknown

We all have an innate desire for meaningful relationships.

In a world that moves at warp speed, we owe it to our children and each other to slow down in full presence with each other at every chance we get and to develop genuine connection between generations.

Let’s build the village for our community together.

In the wake of the devastation of Hurricane Helene, there was something truly beautiful that emerged from the cracks and craters left amidst the widespread grief and suffering:

Neighbors came together, sharing resources without hesitation, helping each other without question, and leaning into the community and onto each other for support and connection.

We moved as one, without question or hesitation and without a thought or judgment about how people showed up.

We did what was needed. We lifted each other and we leaned on each other.

Little Field School was created with the intention of keeping that rugged sense of community alive.

Welcome. Come as you are.
