Tuition and fees
Tuition and fees cover daily lunch, snacks, and Pizza Fridays, the cost of most of our adventures, and all school supplies. We take walking field trips through our neighborhood and throughout West Asheville every day, often multiple times a day, so expect dirty, tired children at the end of every day!

Tuition for the 2026-2027 School Year
Little Field School Full Time: Monday-Friday 8:30-1:00 $9,500 annual tuition
Part-Time Enrollment Options: $7,500 annual tuition
Monday/Wednesday/Friday 8:30-1:00
Tuesday/Thursday/Friday 8:30-1:00
Our afternoon program, Field Peas, is offered 1:00-3:00/4:30 Monday-Friday in three-month terms with programming aligned with the seasons — Autumn Session (August 27-November 23), Winter Session (November 30-February 25), and Spring Session (March 1-May 27). We kindly request commitment to each session in full for program and enrichment activity planning.
Pricing for Field Peas 4:30 pickup is as follows, billed monthly:
$375/5 days per week

$50/day occasional rate *24 hour advance notice kindly requested to accommodate planning and materials needs

Fees
Enrollment fee - one-time payment of $150 due upon enrollment form submission to secure your child’s placement
Materials fee - annual payment of $250 due August 1
Tuition deposit - annual payment of $500 due by July 1 for the upcoming school year. This payment can be directed to our Community Fund to support our commitment to equitable access to high-quality early childhood education or applied to the final month’s tuition payment.
We believe every child deserves access to exceptional early learning — that’s why we keep our programming both high-quality and affordable.
For added flexibility, we offer the following alternative payment plans:
Single-payment Plan
Tuition paid in full by August 1 - $9,025 (5% discount)
Dual-semester Plan
Tuition paid ahead for each semester - $4,607.50 due August 1 and January 15 (3% discount)
Twelve-month Plan
$800 due first of the month July-June; tuition deposit must be paid in full by July 1. Convenience fee of $100 is included and spread evenly across the twelve months.

We are deeply committed to expanding community-wide access to high-quality early childhood education with the knowledge that preschool attendance dramatically improves outcomes for children across demographics.
To that end, we offer need-based sliding scale and fully community-funded tuition for no less than 30% of our families in perpetuity.
