Enrollment Information for the 2027-2028 School Year
Due to the overwhelming need to build a strong community and in recognition of our current class’s desire to have everyone present for the full LFS experience, beginning in 2027, we will no longer offer half-day enrollment. The intention behind this change is to ensure we offer a cohesive, equitable program that is accessible for all learners - we really just don’t want anyone to miss out on anything, and some of the most meaningful hands-on experiential learning happens as an extension of morning work cycle on an afternoon adventure. Should a child need an abbreviated schedule as they adjust to our active days at school, we would be glad to make adjustments on a case by case basis.
Our school day is 9:00-2:00 (drop-off no earlier than 8:30) with Field Peas Afternoons available from 2:00-5:00.
2027-2028 Tuition and Fees
The cost of nutritious daily snacks and lunch, planned and unplanned experiential learning opportunities, all necessary supplies, a rain suit for school day use, and artist-quality materials are all covered by monthly tuition and annual fees. The only provisions needed each day from families are your child, layered clothing appropriate for the weather, and a water bottle with a generous handle.
Full-Time Enrollment

Monthly Tuition: $1,150
Annual Materials Fee: $250
Annual *Tuition Deposit: $500
One-Time Initial Enrollment Fee: $250
*Annual Tuition Deposit reserves your child’s placement for the following year and must be paid in full for the upcoming school year by July 1. This fee can be applied to your final month’s tuition payment or may a directed donation to the Community Fund that enables us to offer sliding scale and full community sponsored tuition for 30+% of our families.
